Pete Cook (FRGS) t/a Heng Genting Mountain Adventures; has worked in the outdoor industry as a practitioner in adventurous activities for over 25 years. Pete holds a number of awards & qualifications in: Climbing, Mountaineering, Teaching, First Aid Instruction & Health & Safety Management and is also a qualified Emergency Medical Technician and Wilderness Medic Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
Pete has led, organised and assisted on many successful expeditions within the UK and overseas, including the Middle East and Africa. In recognition of his hard work and exploratory expeditions and teaching; Pete was Awarded a fellowship to the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS) London in 2008.

These bodies provide vital continuation training & pathways; ensuring that best practice & sharing of ideas is maintained in the industry.
From time to time we will use outside instructors all who hold national awards in the activities they deliver and all have personally been vetted by Pete prior to working with our clients.
Pete Cook and Heng Genting hold a number of approvals to deliver nationally recognised awards, these range from personal awards for outdoor enthusiasts, such as navigation skills and the John Muir environmental award to Qualifications in Leadership and First Aid for those working or holding a formal position when looking after others outdoors.
